Uquifa is moving forward with the construction of a High Potency facility at its site in Agrate-Brianza,Italy to produce
a Class 4 compound for a major pharmaceutical company. Construction of the plant is underway and is expected
to be completed in July 2006.
The unit has been designed to comply with latest and most stringent EH&S requirements and also to operate
under cGMP conditions. Amongst the features are:

* a solids charging in closed system
* a filter/dryer with charging and discharging via glove-box
* micronisation within a glove-box environment

To complement the High Potency facility,Uquifa has equipped its laboratories at the Agrate-Brianza site to be able to conduct
process developement and proof of concept for Highly Potent compounds.
